My name is Raphaël Dairon, a French illustrator who graduated with a European Master's degree from the ESAG Penninghen graphic art school in 2012. My career path led me to settle in Montreal, a city I hold dear, where I discovered the street art scene. I began by participating in murals and exhibitions with the Fresh Paint gallery, while also being involved on several occasions in the Under Pressure street art festival.
At the same time, as art director for the non-profit organization Youth Fusion, I produced various illustrations for events such as the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, the Ancient Future Festival and the RIDM. Since the beginning of 2022, I've been devoting myself entirely to illustration, painting and mural art.
My passion for illustration goes back to my childhood, influenced by comics, Japanese manga and comic books. Fascinated by science fiction and fantasy, I like to explore the imaginary through my creations, seeking to immerse viewers in detailed and captivating universes, whether on paper or on the wall.
My attachment to storytelling and world-building shines through in my art, inviting the public to escape by imagining the stories behind my works, whether through expressive robots or fantastical worlds. My aim is to create an immersive experience and an invitation to travel through my artwork.
